Shipping & Insurance
Our shipping is a set calculated price. We strive to offer our customers the lowest shipping rates possible without over-charging like some Etsy sellers. Rest easy knowing the item price specified is the EXACT price you are charged. Please see individual items for shipping prices.
Please allow 1-3 business days for us to ship your purchase. We generally ship Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays USPS. Domestic shipments are shipped priority, parcel post or first class mail. You may expect your purchase to arrive within the next 5-8 business days. If you are looking to receive your item faster or by a specific upcoming date, simply contact us prior to purchase.
International buyers please allow 1-2 weeks for shipment. However, this time frame may be more or less depending on your country's shipping times and customs requirements.
It is the BUYER's responsibility to make sure their purchase complies with their country's customs laws. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.
Combined shipping orders are usually shipped together in the same package, but on some occasions may ship separately due to size or shape. I will notify you of this in advance. Combined shipping is a lower per item shipping cost, so the more you order, the better deal you get!
Insurance is included in all transactions over $50.00. If you would like to add insurance to your order, please contact us prior to checkout. Insurance covers loss or damage during shipment. Though we strive to package our products carefully, insurance can cover issues or mistakes made by the U.S. postal office beyond our control. Insurance costs an additional $3.00.
Payment & Returns
We accept Paypal and most major credit cards (including Visa & Mastercard) through our direct checkout on our etsy shop page. Please allow payment to clear before expecting shipment. We also accept money orders, but please allow up to ten days for your order to ship.
We want our Bonfire customers to be satisfied! If for any reason you regret your purchase, you may return your order for store credit (buyer pays for both shipping costs.) Returns are accepted within 7 days of receiving your item. Items must be returned in the same condition (unworn and clean).
Some items are subject to their own return policies. Please see item description for any individual policy.
Due to restrictions and time that items must go through customs, returns from International buyers are not accepted. Sorry for any inconvenience. We describe each item as accurately as possible through description and photos together. Any questions, please feel free to contact us!
Frequently Asked Questions
As of now, we do not have a direct site shopping cart. However, you can simply click the item you're interested in, and it will take you to the item listing on etsy. Sign up for an etsy account if you don't already have one and add the items you'd like to your cart. We are able to easily take major credit cards as well as paypal through Etsy and you can rest easy knowing your payment is private and secure.
We mostly sell genuine vintage items, but you will also see upcycled, artistic and handmade creations as well. We believe in a do-it-yourself attitude while focusing on the values of education, being earth-friendly and fashion-conscious.
Well our number one rule is asking ourselves: "Was it made before 1990?" If so, then we call it vintage!
This is the cool part: 95% of our inventory is purchased from locations such as the salvation army, goodwill, savers and Christian thrift stores. All of these non-profit places give money towards good works such as rehabilitation, education and the serving of veterans, seniors and individuals with special needs. You can feel good about purchasing products from Bonfire Vintage, as usually 5-10% of the sale was spent at one of these non-profit locations.

Vintage items with tags in unworn/unwashed condition. Also known as 'dead stock' vintage.
Vintage items that are almost new, but do not have tags and may show very small flaws such as sticker marks.
Vintage items that have been worn, but have small signs of wear such as slight pilling or a few frayed threads.
Vintage items that have been worn that show average signs of wear expected for its age. Examples of wear include very small or faint stains, small tears, and/or repaired or tailored material.
